2015 Virtual Christmas Card Letter
The Oppmann family ended the year on a pre-Christmas trip to The Commonwealth of the Bahamas, cheering on the MTSU Football Team in the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl. But that wasn't the only thing exciting this year: The girls were involved in several terrific theater productions (including Emily, Sarah, Rachel and Lucy in the Wizard of Oz); Andrew was promoted to lieutenant colonel in the Civil Air Patrol and named a regent of the Associated Press Media Editors; and Elise kept everything running smoothly as our lives got even more complicated. Here are highlights from the year that was.
January: Emily as the Glinda the Good Witch in Wizard of Oz. Lucy as Toto.

January: Sarah as an apple tree in Wizard of Oz.

January: Rachel as a munchkin in Wizard of Oz.

February: Emily served as a page for our friend, State Sen. Bill Ketron.

February: MTSU ROTC Mess Dress with Col. Tom and Jerri Isom.

February: Elise and Andrew traveled to LA for the GRAMMY Awards and got to see Pastor Jane at the MTSU brunch.

March: Andrew saw Machu Picchu in Peru on a MTSU trip.

March: Spring Training 2015 in Arizona with Tom, Bryan and the guys.
March: Andrew received the Exceptional Service Award from the Tennessee Wing CAP.

April: Our annual Spring Break trip with the Koehler and Cruz families.

May: Sarah's last concert as a member of the Nashville Children's Choir.
|
May: Jordan and Emily celebrating Central Magnet's girls tennis district championship.
|
May: Sarah and Rachel in Schoolhouse Rock at the Arts Center of Cannon County.

May: Emily's 16th birthday! We did a scavenger hunt in downtown Nashville.

June: Sarah and Andrew at Bonnaroo 2015!

June: Emily made great friends at Governor's School for International Studies at U of M.

June: Elise and Sarah at the 2015 Tony Awards in New York City.

June: Elise won a national ice cream recipe contest & won a fancy ice cream maker!

August: Sarah was in 13 The Musical at the Manchester Arts Center.

August: Coach Brad returns to Nashville before his promotion to Rangers bullpen coach.

October: Karen Magnuson nominated Andrew to be an APME regent!

November: Sarah in Blackman High School's Death of a Salesman.
|
December: Rachel sang with noted jazz pianist David Benoit in a Christmas concert in Nashville.
|
December: Andrew (General Waverly) and Rachel (Susan Waverly) took the stage in Irving Berlin's White Christmas.
